# FAQ, resources, and notice

### Character questions

<details>

<summary>Are all Alpha and Omega founders unique?</summary>

Yes. The founder collection contains a maximum of 500 Alpha and 500 Omega. Every founder has its own immutable genome and approved unique image.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do Alpha and Omega have different power?</summary>

No. They have equal Premium utility, economic power, and maximum supply. Their stage identities and visual traits differ, but neither type is stronger.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How does a Wisp inherit traits?</summary>

A Wisp records one Alpha and one Omega as parents. Its anatomy and surface traits are finalized under the published inheritance rules, and each trait records its parent or approved evolutionary origin. Every valid Wisp includes recorded contribution from both parents.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why can two sibling Wisps look different?</summary>

The two Wisps from one Attic session share the same parents but receive separately finalized combinations of inherited traits. They are genetically related siblings, not identical copies.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What are the visible trait slots?</summary>

The six anatomy slots are Crown, Ears, Back, Tail, Eyes, and Mouth. Material, Palette, and Pattern are recorded separately as surface traits.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do stage seals affect rarity?</summary>

No. Alpha, Omega, Wisp, and Fantom seals are fixed stage identities. They are not inherited rarity traits and do not make one character stronger.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does rarity improve Premium utility or reproduction?</summary>

No. Rarity measures collectible visual scarcity only. It does not provide stronger Premium utility, faster reproduction, shorter cooldowns, priority access, or guaranteed financial value.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How are ten Wisps turned into a Fantom?</summary>

Ten specific eligible Wisps are selected for genetic convergence. Their IDs and contributions are recorded, a coherent evolved Fantom genome is finalized, and the ten Wisps are burned. The result is one genetically traceable Fantom—not a collage of ten characters.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can a Fantom reproduce?</summary>

Fantom reproduction is a proposed slow-cycle Wisp creation mechanism. Final eligibility, cooldown, fees and seasonal limits will be announced before activation. Until then, Fantom reproductive output is disabled and excluded from supply calculations.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can a Fantom become an Alpha or Omega?</summary>

No. A Fantom can never become a founder. Any future reproduction will use its own slow-cycle rules outside The Attic.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does AI run inside the smart contract?</summary>

No. AI-generated PNGs are concept references. The smart contract records ownership and genome commitments. Final mint and animation assets should be reconstructed through the approved deterministic layered/vector pipeline.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens if an image render fails?</summary>

Before mint, a bad render is rejected before the founder pool is sealed. After mint, a genuine defect may be corrected only by re-rendering the same immutable genome, publishing a new image hash, incrementing the art revision, and preserving the prior provenance record.

</details>

### MARK, Ghost Egg, and January buyback questions

<details>

<summary>What is MARK?</summary>

MARK is a soulbound campaign point earned from validated Swaymark creator contributions. During this campaign it has one use only: redeeming a Creator Reward Egg. It is non-transferable, cannot be sold, cannot be converted to cash or ETH, and expires under the published campaign rules.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What are the two Ghost Egg routes?</summary>

There are two independent routes. A **Creator Reward Egg** costs 100 MARK and comes from the Creator Reward Pool. A **Direct Egg** is minted for **0.004 ETH on Robinhood Chain** and comes from a separate Direct Mint Pool. Each route has its own capped inventory, character quantities, stage odds, and sealed commitment.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does every successful mint or redemption produce a real NFT?</summary>

Yes. Every successfully redeemed Creator Reward Egg or Direct Egg reveals one Alpha, Omega, Wisp, or Fantom. There are no empty Eggs, raffle entries, or leaderboard-only rewards.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I mint a Direct Egg without earning MARK?</summary>

Yes. A verified Swaymark account may mint a Direct Egg for 0.004 ETH on Robinhood Chain without publishing a contribution or holding MARK, subject to Direct Mint Pool availability and limits. This route branches before creator contribution and MARK earning.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can Direct Egg buyers consume Creator Reward inventory?</summary>

No. Direct mints cannot consume the inventory reserved to back issued MARK. The two pools are independently capped and accounted for.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What does the $20,000 creator allocation include?</summary>

It includes only the product-reference utility assigned to the MARK-funded Creator Reward Pool, using the current Premium references: Alpha/Omega $499, Wisp $4.99, and Fantom $49. Paid Direct Eggs are a separate allocation and do not count toward the $20,000 figure.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How quickly can a creator earn a Creator Reward Egg?</summary>

The individual maximum is 50 MARK per validated creator per day. Because one Creator Reward Egg costs 100 MARK, the fastest possible path is two awarded days. This is not guaranteed: every award depends on validated quality, campaign scoring, and the remaining fixed daily pool.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much MARK is distributed each day?</summary>

Let N be the fixed number of Creator Reward Eggs. Maximum issuance is 100 × N MARK. The 30-day earning campaign distributes up to 3 × N MARK per day, totaling 90 × N. The remaining 10 × N MARK is reserved for validated completion awards and corrections. The 50-MARK individual maximum does not mean every creator receives 50 MARK.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens to a partial MARK balance?</summary>

During the final campaign week, a creator with 50–99 MARK may be considered for a completion award if the contribution is validated and reserve remains. After the 30-day earning period, creators have 14 days to redeem. Any MARK left after that grace period expires and does not carry over.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What can an Egg reveal?</summary>

Either pool may reveal an Alpha or Omega founder, a Wisp with recorded Alpha/Omega parents, or a Fantom with ten recorded Wisp contributors. The exact quantities and odds are disclosed separately for each pool and committed before recipients are known.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Which NFTs qualify for the January Creator Reward buyback?</summary>

Only eligible characters revealed from MARK-funded Creator Reward Eggs qualify. Eligible Alpha, Omega, Wisp, and Fantom characters must remain unconsumed, unburned, unlocked, traceable to the Creator Reward Pool, and otherwise compliant with the published terms.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do Direct Egg characters qualify for the January buyback?</summary>

No. Direct Egg characters are excluded. Their owners may still hold them, consume them, list them on the ordinary marketplace, and—if the stage is eligible—offer them through the Access Auction.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What is the January deadline?</summary>

Cifer plans to open the voluntary process early enough for every accepted eligible Creator Reward buyback transaction to complete no later than **31 January 2027**. The opening date, submission deadline, price or formula, funding, settlement asset, and acceptance rules will be published before activation.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is the January buyback a guaranteed market floor?</summary>

No. It is a voluntary, origin-limited campaign program. It does not promise profit, appreciation, purchase at a holder-selected price, or eligibility for Direct Egg or other non-Creator-Reward characters.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is the January buyback the same as the Cifer Access Auction?</summary>

No. The Access Auction is conditional subscription-driven demand for eligible Wisp and Fantom listings below Cifer's maximum bid. The January buyback is a separate time-bound program only for eligible MARK-funded Creator Reward characters.

</details>

### Ownership and Access Auction questions

<details>

<summary>Will every NFT owner be able to sell?</summary>

Once the Cifer Marketplace is active, every owner can list an eligible, unconsumed, unlocked Alpha, Omega, Wisp, or Fantom for sale, regardless of origin. Listing does not guarantee a buyer. Separately, only eligible MARK-funded Creator Reward characters qualify for the January buyback; Direct Egg characters do not.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why would I hold instead of consuming immediately?</summary>

Holding preserves the character's available options. Depending on its stage, the owner may later pair it, converge it, list it for sale, offer it through the Access Auction, use proposed future reproduction, or consume it for Premium. Consumption is irreversible and ends those remaining options.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What is the Cifer Access Auction?</summary>

It is a proposed capped reverse auction connecting Web2 subscription activity to eligible Wisp and Fantom sell offers. Cifer conditionally purchases the cheapest valid route only when its total cost is at or below Cifer's maximum bid.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does every subscription purchase a Wisp or Fantom?</summary>

No. The Web2 subscription always activates, but the NFT purchase is conditional. If no eligible offer clears Cifer's maximum bid, Cifer makes no market purchase and retains the subscription revenue.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How does the yearly auction choose between Fantoms and Wisps?</summary>

The router may compare the cheapest eligible Fantom with the combined cost of ten eligible Wisps plus convergence and execution costs. It selects the cheapest valid route only if that route remains below the maximum bid.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can Alpha and Omega enter the Access Auction?</summary>

Not in the initial subscription-auction design. Eligible Alpha and Omega owners can still list founders through the general Cifer Marketplace. The initial Access Auction targets monthly Wisps and yearly Fantom or ten-Wisp routes.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens to a character purchased through the Access Auction?</summary>

The marketplace settles the purchase, the seller receives the published share of the sale price, and the Wisp or Fantom is consumed for the matching Premium entitlement. It can no longer be traded or used again.

</details>

### Utility and product questions

<details>

<summary>What are the current Cifer Premium prices?</summary>

Monthly Premium is **$4.99**, yearly Premium is **$49**, and the Lifetime Pass is **$499**.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Which Premium tier does each character provide?</summary>

An original Alpha or Omega can be consumed for Lifetime Premium. One Wisp can be consumed for monthly Premium. A Fantom created through ten-Wisp convergence can be consumed for yearly Premium.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does a Fantom provide Lifetime Premium?</summary>

No. A Fantom provides one year of Premium. Only an original Alpha or Omega provides the Lifetime Pass when consumed.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What does The Attic produce?</summary>

One completed 60-day Alpha/Omega pairing creates two sibling Wisps: one for the Alpha owner and one for the Omega owner. Each Wisp represents one monthly Premium entitlement.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Are characters locked while waiting for The Attic?</summary>

No. Alpha and Omega remain unlocked in the waiting list. They lock only after a room becomes available, all required owners approve, and the 60-day active pairing period begins.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens in shared pairing?</summary>

The Alpha owner and Omega owner commit through one complete 60-day session. Two sibling Wisps are created: one for each owner. Both founders then unlock automatically.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Are Ghost earnings guaranteed?</summary>

No. Ordinary marketplace proceeds require a completed purchase, and Access Auction demand remains conditional. The January Creator Reward buyback will use separately published eligibility, pricing, funding, submission, and settlement terms; it applies only to eligible MARK-funded Creator Reward characters and must not be presented as guaranteed profit or appreciation.

</details>

### Network questions

<details>

<summary>Which blockchain does the Ghost Economy use?</summary>

Ghost Eggs, character NFTs, The Attic, convergence, Premium consumption, and the native marketplace use **Robinhood Chain**.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much ETH do I need to mint a Direct Egg?</summary>

The Direct Egg mint price is **0.004 ETH on Robinhood Chain**. The wallet must also cover the separately estimated network fee shown before confirmation. Because the price is denominated in ETH, its USD equivalent can change.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is Cifer an application or a network?</summary>

Both. Cifer is a decentralized privacy network and an ecosystem of applications that use it. Cifer Security for macOS and VEIL for iPhone are product experiences built around the broader network foundation.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do ordinary Cifer users need a crypto wallet?</summary>

No for ordinary Cifer application use or a Web2 Premium subscription. A compatible Robinhood Chain wallet is required for Ghost ownership, Direct Egg minting, marketplace transactions, Attic pairing, convergence, or on-chain redemption.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is Cifer quantum-proof?</summary>

No responsible system should make that claim. Cifer is **quantum-resistant**: it uses ML-KEM-768 and AES-256-GCM to address known quantum attack models, with crypto-agility for future upgrades.
